Stag Power Rentals keeps a diesel-only fleet of 20kW to 2,000kW generators staged at our Dickinson, Texas yard, load-bank tested and shipped nationwide. Our track record spans events, commercial properties, healthcare facilities, construction sites, and industrial plants, covering planned outages as much as emergency response.
Van Vleck’s Highway 35 commercial corridor and its ties to the Sweeny and Bay City industrial plants mean the right rental here ranges from a small retail backup unit to something sized for a contractor mobilization. Our hurricane contingency power plan keeps priority units staged ahead of Gulf Coast storm season, and you can reach us at 1-844-STAG-PWR or request a quote any time.
Van Vleck is a Matagorda County community of just under 2,000 people along State Highway 35, which carries an estimated 10,000 vehicles a day past the town’s restaurants, banks, and retail businesses. The town relocated to its current site along SH-35 when the highway was built in 1930, and its economy has stayed closely tied to the industrial plants in nearby Sweeny and Bay City ever since — most residents’ jobs, and much of the area’s storm-season risk, run through those two towns.

Looking for a 20kW-2000kW Generator Near You?
Whether you are planning for an outage or have an emergency situation, we’re ready 24/7 to ship a generator that will meet your power requirements.
Van Vleck’s position on the Highway 35 corridor between Sweeny and Bay City drives the same generator demand we see across our home Gulf Coast market. Stag Power Rentals ships the same diesel-only, load-bank-tested fleet — 20kW to 2,000kW — to Van Vleck that we deploy nationwide, sized for a small-business commercial strip as often as contractor staging tied to the area’s industrial plants. Confirm current availability and lead time for your location.

Stag Power Rentals supplies industrial and commercial diesel generators from 20kW to 2,000kW for SH-35 retail and commercial backup, contractor staging tied to nearby Sweeny and Bay City industrial work, municipal and school standby, and storm-season power throughout Van Vleck. Generators are dispatched from our Dickinson, Texas yard and delivered nationwide, sized according to connected load, startup demand, voltage, phase, and site access.
Van Vleck’s location on a high-traffic commercial corridor between two industrial towns keeps demand for temporary power varied. For immediate assistance, call 1-844-STAG-PWR or request an industrial generator rental quote.
Van Vleck shares the same Gulf Coast storm exposure as Sweeny and Bay City, and its commercial strip along SH-35 — restaurants, banks, retail — is exactly the kind of small-business corridor that loses the most from an extended outage after a storm. Our hurricane contingency power plan keeps priority units staged for returning Gulf Coast clients ahead of storm season.
Stag supports local businesses along the SH-35 corridor, commercial property owners, municipalities and government facilities, and warehouse and manufacturing operations tied to the nearby industrial plants.
Van Vleck is reached from our Dickinson yard via US-59/I-69 and State Highway 35, the same corridor that continues south through Sweeny and Sugar Valley to Bay City. Because the town sits directly on SH-35, delivery to most Van Vleck sites is a straightforward highway drop rather than a rural lease-road delivery, though we still confirm parking and staging space along the commercial strip ahead of time.
| Generator Size | Typical Load | Common Applications |
|---|---|---|
| 45kW | Small retail or restaurant backup | Local businesses |
| 150kW | Bank or office building standby | Commercial property |
| 300kW | School or municipal building backup | Municipalities and government |
| 600kW | Contractor staging tied to Sweeny/Bay City industrial work | Warehouse and manufacturing |
| 1,500kW+ | Large industrial contractor support | Emergency response & disaster recovery |
Sizing a rental correctly means accounting for running load, startup demand, voltage and phase, how loads will be sequenced, expected runtime, and how power will be distributed across the site.
| Factor | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Generator size and fuel burn | Larger commercial and contractor loads increase fuel consumption |
| Rental duration | Retail backup can be short notice; contractor staging can run weeks |
| Distribution equipment | Cables, transfer switches, and panels needed for the load |
| Site access | Highway frontage parking and staging space along the SH-35 commercial strip |
