Stag Power Rentals dispatches diesel generators from 20kW to 2,000kW out of our Dickinson, Texas yard, a quick run down to Tiki Island’s canal-front community on West Galveston Bay. The fleet is diesel-only and load-bank tested before every delivery, and we bring the same nationwide-deployed equipment to waterfront homes, marinas, and small commercial properties here — sized for planned events, ongoing property needs, and emergency standby alike.
What a Tiki Island property needs from a rental generator depends on the situation: a homeowner or HOA preparing for storm season needs different power planning than a marina or waterfront business protecting equipment during construction, and both benefit from arranging ahead under our hurricane contingency power plan. Call 1-844-STAG-PWR or request a quote to talk through your needs.
Tiki Island is a small, low-lying canal community on West Galveston Bay, built largely on dredged fill with homes lining private boat canals just a few feet above sea level. That elevation profile leaves the island unusually exposed to storm surge, as Gulf Coast storms including Hurricane Ike demonstrated for the wider Galveston Bay area, and it means power loss tends to arrive well before floodwater recedes.

Looking for a 20kW-2000kW Generator Near You?
Whether you are planning for an outage or have an emergency situation, we’re ready 24/7 to ship a generator that will meet your power requirements.
Tiki Island’s low-elevation, storm-surge-exposed position on West Galveston Bay, right in Stag’s home Gulf Coast service area, drives the same generator demand we see across our home market. Stag Power Rentals ships the same diesel-only, load-bank-tested fleet — 20kW to 2,000kW — to Tiki Island that we deploy nationwide, sized for waterfront homes, marinas, and small commercial properties, with rapid local response given the short distance from our Dickinson yard. Confirm current availability and lead time for your location.

Stag Power Rentals supplies industrial and commercial diesel generators from 20kW to 2,000kW for waterfront homes, marinas, small commercial properties, and emergency standby power throughout Tiki Island. Generators are dispatched from our Dickinson, Texas yard and delivered nationwide, sized according to connected load, startup demand, voltage, phase, and site access.
Tiki Island’s low elevation and storm-surge exposure create year-round demand for temporary and standby power. For immediate assistance, call 1-844-STAG-PWR or request an industrial generator rental quote.
Tiki Island’s canal-front homes and marinas sit close enough to open bay water that storm surge, not just wind, is the primary threat during Gulf Coast storm season. Property owners can arrange standby power ahead of the season under our hurricane contingency power plan rather than searching for a generator once evacuation routes are already congested.
Tiki Island sits roughly 8-10 miles from our Dickinson dispatch yard via TX-6 and the Tiki Island causeway, well inside our home service radius. That short haul supports same-day and rapid-response delivery, which matters on an island with a single road connection where timing ahead of a storm makes the difference.
| Generator Size | Typical Load | Common Industries |
|---|---|---|
| 45kW | Single homes, small marina buildings | Local businesses |
| 150kW | Larger waterfront properties, small commercial sites | Commercial property |
| 300kW | Marina operations, multi-building sites | Commercial property |
| 600kW | Larger commercial or community-wide standby | Emergency response and disaster recovery |
| 1500kW | Large-scale disaster recovery deployment | Emergency response and disaster recovery |
| Cost Factor | Consideration |
|---|---|
| Generator size | Larger kW units cost more but may cover a wider property or multiple structures |
| Rental duration | Pre-storm standby rentals price differently than short emergency deployments |
| Delivery and access | Bridge and causeway access, staging space, and timing ahead of weather affect logistics cost |
| Fuel | Diesel consumption scales with load and runtime |
| Power distribution | Cabling and transfer switches for waterfront structures add cost |
| Emergency deployment | Storm-season rush requests may carry different lead times |
| Factor | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Running load | The continuous power your home, marina, or business draws once operating |
| Startup load | The surge from pumps, lifts, and HVAC equipment when first switched on |
| Voltage and phase | Must match your property’s electrical service |
| Load sequence | The order equipment comes online affects peak demand |
| Runtime | Determines fuel tank size and refueling schedule during extended outages |
| Distribution | Cabling, transfer switches, and panel access at a waterfront site |
