Stag Power Rentals runs a diesel-only fleet spanning 20kW to 2,000kW out of our Dickinson, Texas yard, with delivery nationwide and every unit load-bank tested before it ships. That fleet has powered events, commercial properties, healthcare facilities, construction sites, and industrial operations alike, sized case-by-case for planned outages as well as emergency response when utility power fails.
What a Midfield property needs from a generator — output, phase, run time — comes down to the specifics of the job, not a standard package. For storm-driven needs, our hurricane contingency power plan explains how we pre-position units ahead of landfall; for everything else, call 1-844-STAG-PWR or request a quote.
Midfield is a small, unincorporated community in Matagorda County, with an economy still rooted in the rice and row-crop agriculture common across the county. It’s a quiet area without heavy industrial presence, so most backup power needs here trace back to farm operations, small businesses, or the occasional construction project.
Like the rest of Matagorda County, Midfield sits close enough to the Gulf that hurricane season is a standing planning consideration for anyone who can’t afford to lose power for an extended stretch.

| Factor | Why It Matters |
|---|---|

| Voltage & phase | Must match the site’s electrical service |
| Run time needed | Determines fuel tank size and refueling schedule |
| Site access | Affects unit footprint and delivery equipment |
| Factor | Impact |
|---|---|
| Generator size (kW) | Larger units cost more to rent and to fuel |
| Rental duration | Longer terms typically lower the daily rate |
| Fuel consumption | Tied to load and tank size |
| Delivery distance | Transportation cost scales with mileage |
| Hookup requirements | Transfer switches and cabling add setup cost |

Midfield’s inland position in Matagorda County still leaves it exposed to the same Gulf storm systems that affect our home market. Our hurricane contingency power plan covers how we pre-position diesel generators ahead of forecast storms so farms and businesses here aren’t waiting on power after landfall.
Midfield sits roughly 80 miles from our Dickinson yard, reached via SH-35 and county roads — a same-day regional trip for our delivery crews rather than a long-haul dispatch, even though it’s the more rural end of this service area.
