Stag Power Rentals maintains a diesel-only fleet from 20kW to 2,000kW, dispatched from our Dickinson, Texas yard and delivered nationwide, with every generator load-bank tested ahead of rental. Our team has supplied temporary power for events, commercial properties, healthcare facilities, construction sites, and industrial operations of every size, handling both scheduled work and emergency response when the grid drops.
A Blessing property’s power needs come down to the specifics of the job — load, run time, hookup requirements — not a one-size package. If a storm is what brought you here, our hurricane contingency power plan covers how we stage equipment ahead of landfall; otherwise, call 1-844-STAG-PWR or request a quote and we’ll size the right unit.
Blessing is a small, unincorporated Matagorda County community best known for the Hotel Blessing, a working hotel established in 1907 and still operating today, and for the ranching and agricultural heritage that shaped the town’s founding. That agricultural base still defines much of the local economy.
Blessing shares the same Gulf-adjacent storm exposure as the rest of Matagorda County, so ranches, farms, and small businesses here plan for backup power the same way the rest of the county does — not just during an active hurricane watch.

Blessing sits roughly 80-85 miles from our Dickinson yard via SH-35 and US-59/I-69 connections, making it the farthest-out stop in this cluster — but still a same-day round trip for our delivery crews, not a long-haul dispatch.
| Factor | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Connected load | Sets the baseline kW the unit must sustain |
| Startup/inrush demand | Motors and pumps can require several times their running load at startup |
| Voltage & phase | Must match the site’s electrical service |
| Run time needed | Determines fuel tank size and refueling schedule |
| Site access | Affects unit footprint and delivery equipment |
Blessing shares Matagorda County’s Gulf-adjacent storm exposure, so ranch and farm operations here plan for outages the same way the rest of our home market does. Our hurricane contingency power plan covers how we pre-position diesel generators ahead of forecast storms.
| Factor | Impact |
|---|---|
| Generator size (kW) | Larger units cost more to rent and to fuel |
| Rental duration | Longer terms typically lower the daily rate |
| Fuel consumption | Tied to load and tank size |
| Delivery distance | Transportation cost scales with mileage |
| Hookup requirements | Transfer switches and cabling add setup cost |
Roughly 80-85 miles, still a comfortable same-day round trip for our delivery crews.
