From a Dickinson, Texas yard stocked with diesel-only units from 20kW to 2,000kW, Stag Power Rentals delivers nationwide and load-bank tests every generator before it goes out the gate. That fleet has stood behind festivals and public events, kept commercial buildings running, backed up healthcare facilities, powered active construction sites, and covered industrial operations through both scheduled shutdowns and sudden outages.
What a Lake Jackson business needs out of a rental generator depends on the job — a planned turnaround looks nothing like an emergency call after a storm knocks out utility power. Our hurricane contingency power plan covers the storm scenario; for anything else, call 1-844-STAG-PWR or go straight to a quote request.
Lake Jackson was built in the 1940s by Dow Chemical as a planned community for workers at its adjacent Freeport-area manufacturing complex, and the city still sits directly beside one of Dow’s largest U.S. production sites. That relationship shapes the local economy: turnarounds, contractor mobilizations, and facility expansions at the plant ripple out to the surrounding commercial and construction base, and Gulf Coast hurricane exposure means the same base has learned to plan for outages, not just react to them.

Looking for a 20kW-2000kW Generator Near You?
Whether you are planning for an outage or have an emergency situation, we’re ready 24/7 to ship a generator that will meet your power requirements.
Lake Jackson’s deep tie to the adjacent Dow chemical manufacturing complex, right in Stag’s home Gulf Coast service area, drives the same generator demand we see across our home market. Stag Power Rentals ships the same diesel-only, load-bank-tested fleet — 20kW to 2,000kW — to Lake Jackson that we deploy nationwide, sized to match plant-adjacent contractor loads as well as standard commercial demand, with rapid local response given the short distance from our Dickinson yard. Confirm current availability and lead time for your location.
20kW-2000kW • Portable • Trailer • Skid • Diesel Generators
Stag Power Rentals supplies industrial and commercial diesel generators from 20kW to 2,000kW for contractor support around the Dow complex, commercial properties, municipal facilities, and construction projects throughout Lake Jackson and the surrounding Brazosport area. Generators are dispatched from our Dickinson, Texas yard and delivered nationwide, sized according to connected load, startup demand, voltage, phase, and site access.
Lake Jackson’s close economic tie to a major chemical manufacturing complex creates year-round demand for temporary power, from contractor mobilizations to storm response. For immediate assistance, call 1-844-STAG-PWR or request an industrial generator rental quote.
Contractor crews supporting turnaround or expansion work near the Dow complex typically need larger units sized to trailer offices, welding and fabrication equipment, and temporary lighting; commercial and municipal buildings in town more often need a right-sized unit for HVAC, refrigeration, and life-safety systems. Either way, sizing comes down to running load, startup load, voltage, phase, and how loads are sequenced.
| Capacity | Typical Load | Common Applications |
|---|---|---|
| 45kW | Small equipment, lighting, single-trailer sites | Local businesses |
| 150kW | Commercial building systems, multiple pieces of contractor equipment | Commercial property |
| 300kW | Larger contractor mobilizations, mid-size facilities | Warehouse and manufacturing |
| 600kW | Continuous industrial or plant-adjacent process loads | Warehouse and manufacturing |
| 1,500kW | Full-facility backup, major turnaround support | Emergency response & disaster recovery |
| Factor | Impact |
|---|---|
| Generator size and runtime | Larger units and longer terms change the effective daily rate |
| Fuel and tank configuration | External tanks extend unattended runtime for multi-day contractor jobs |
| Distribution equipment | Cables, panels, and transfer switches are priced separately from the generator |
| Site access | Plant-adjacent security and access protocols can affect delivery scheduling |
Lake Jackson is about 44 miles from Stag’s Dickinson yard, typically reached via SH-288 and TX-35, keeping delivery inside our home Gulf Coast response radius rather than a long-haul dispatch.
Lake Jackson sits within the same Gulf Coast hurricane corridor as Stag’s own home market, and outages here follow the same pattern of downed feeder lines and multi-day utility repair queues after a landfall event. Our hurricane contingency power plan lets businesses and municipal facilities reserve capacity before a storm arrives.
